lift and alignment?

So I am just waiting on my tires to arrive so I can install my 2 1/2 front and rear lift. I will be running 35x12.5 R20. Awhile ago I read a post from Epic about having it aligned and I believe having the shop add some positive camber via bushings but I am not certain. Any help here is appreciated and if you have an answer please also note how much are we talking 1 degree or what. Thank you

ill be watching this thread. i added a leaf spring in the back and took out the stock 2" block and added a 4" block so all n all about 3" lift in back and a 2.5" lift in front. ever since then the truck pulls left bad and when i take it to get aligned the shop tells me everythings fine.

Anytime you lift one. Caster goes more towards neg. Not good. Also because you didnt put adjustable track bar on it. The frt diff is pulled to the left some.not good either. Yes they have offset bushings to put caster where it needs to be. I suggest a mom and pop alignment place and tell them what you have done and would like it aligned correct.

I put a bd adjustable track bar on after I did the lift and took it to a mom n pop shop and they're the ones that said it was all aligned perfectly

FWIW - I think the aftermarke recommendation is to have around 3 degrees of positive caster.

Looks nice. I like that color. It was between that and the blue one I picked.

took her out for a little ride tonight. A bit of straight road on the freeways, some mountain roads and some speed bumps at higher than normal speeds. All I can say is that I am as happy as a kid in a candy shop right now seems to ride more smoothly over bumpy roads and even turns better in the mountain roads than the stock set up. Could be all just me but I am very pleased. Put the ready lift 2 1.5 kit on with rancho dual steering stab and Hankook ATM tires. no increased road noise from the tires and seems to be running soother. These tires are 7 ply I believe and running at 65 lbs without towing seems to run very smoothly. I will post spec info on the alignment tomorrow so if anyone else is doing this similar lift and tire combination you have something to go on. I also added the AMP steps with lights and getting into the rig is much easier for myself, my wife and kids - happy wife happy life....

Finally all done.
Here are pics of the last part of my upgrade. New Amp Steps with lights and dual steering stabilizers to control the new tires. Here are my specs for the alignment as well for those of you who are interested.

Majkthreads: Great looking ride you have there too. That dark blue is also one of my favorites besides the dark grey.

After driving around a bit more this weekend all I can say is I wish I would have done the steering stabilizers earlier. Going over speed bumps, pot holes and such are night and day. If you have been on the fence about upgrading the steering stabilizers DO IT.
