Educate me on rims and such

Ever since I saw an OBS dually on 19.5 semi wheels I've wanted a set.

In my searching I've seen various terms thrown around, mainly "ALCOA" and "Buddy wheels"

From my understanding, I can use any 10 lug semi wheels but I need F450 10 lug hubs and such? What is the pattern on my truck right now? It's an 8 lug and I've heard not all 8 lugs are the same.

Thanks!

you should be on 8x6.5. i believe they went metric when they changed the body style in 97.

maximum force adapters;
Adaptors, Wheels, Duality Fenders and Complete Kits - Arrowcraft :: Helping You Handle the Road for over 30 years!

i went affordable.something like $130 or so a little while ago for simulators and done.looks just fine to me for the $.
i just have to buff them up a little every spring.they get a little surface rust after running in the winter,but clean and shine right back up easy and free.iv done the aluminum and chrome wheels.they just don't last here.look ok for 1 year then old and raged unless you polish the crap out of them every couple months.too much work.now that iv got stainless (even though its just a "cover") i wouldn't take anything else even for free now.love 'em.always a clean effortless shine.

semi wheels are 10 lug and 22.5 or 24.5 You can get 19.5s that will bolt right on. IMO 22.5s are too big on a pickup.

F250- WTF is hangin off your front bumper??

Did you mean to say I can't get 19.5s that bolt on?

That bolt to the 8 lugs or the 10 lug trucks? And I agree 22.5 are huge on a pick up.

I found a set of 8 lug 19.5s.
When I asked the lug pattern he just said "They are 8 lug"

Over and under of them fitting on my 8 lug?

up until they went metric, almost all 8 lugs were 8 on 6.5. but there were a few options of center hole sizes, with ford being the biggest.
