Tire Road Hazard Protection Plan worth it?

Going to but some new tires for my 2005 Super Duty 4x4.
I wanted to know if its worth having a Tire Road Hazard Protection Plan worth it?
The Tires I was going to buy are the Toyo Open Country A/T2 in 35x12.50x18LT E-rated. So the tires woud be about $1100 and the plan is an extra $100 for all four tires.
The name of the plan is Defend Road Hazard Protection, Has anyone use them?
It covers the tires up to 3 years.
Thanks....Gage

I've never purchased a road hazard plan for any tires. I can't remember the last time I had a flat, blowout or whatever.

if you have a LesSchwabs nearby, there tires come with a road hazard warranty with no additional cost.

Thanks for the replys....I did get a flat on my Expedition "Bridgestone Revo tires" a few months ago...it was a drywall screw, I have the warranty from Firestone and they fixed it.
Would be nice if Firestone sold tires that I like for my Super Duty.

No LesSchwabs anywhere around here....they do have a great road hazard warranty.

Also Im going to have a full sized spear same wheel/tire for my truck.
Thanks....

I have purchased that plan from Discount Tire in the past. I used it once, and it still cost me another certificate to get a different tire(no repairable). I won't purchase it again

Since I've begun using Michelin LTX's I've never felt the need for an extended warranty. Mind you I'm paying maybe 25-30% less than the average buyer which might be a factor for me---they're "cheap enough?" could be what I'm thinking.

The fine print can be quite the shock so that's something to fully understand. On an $1100 purchase an extra $100 for great protection and hassle-free replacement is a small price to pay for piece of mind.
