What in the world could cause this??!!

Driving at about 70mph, vibration/bouncing (like driving on them concrete highways with all the seems). Then it slowly goes away for a few seconds then slowly starts this bouncing crap again. I have got all new u-joints on the driveline, and front end, new ball joints up front also and new carrier bearing and driveline has been balance in the last few months. I was driving to go turkey huntin and really tried to pay attention to what was goin on. Most of the times before I thought it was the California highways but I'm in Washington and 395 is a nice highway. It stinking rattles your teeth then slowly stops, then slowly starts doin it again. It was kinda creepy driving like this for 2hrs, I hope I didn't cause any more damage. No more road trips for the beast until I get this handled!!! HELP!?!?!? Lol

IDK Does it do it at other speeds as-well or just around 70. It sounds like it could be causing more damage if you keep driving it. I would take it to like Les Shawbs and let them check it out and give you an estimate, at least then you would most likely know what you are dealing with, any other tire store may be fine too I have just had good luck with them.

To do would be install 6.0 intercooler (need pipes and boots)

How old are your tires? My bosses IDI cab and chassis has a slight shimmy. One of the steer wheels is cracked.

They maybe have 6k miles on them and not even a year old. They are BFG all terrains. It's weird how it come then slowly goes away then slowly developes back to bouncing and vibrating.

sounds like a wore out shock.
the wheel starts bouncing a bit due to uneven road conditions. if speeds are rite, the slight hop will steadily get worse till it hits a certain point, then fade. then start the cycle all over again.

If you haven't already, replace the track bar bushings and see if that helps.

Nailed it! 80% of the time this was the culprit with most HD trucks brought in, double check the bolts for the mounts as well....Extremely prominent in Jeeps too.

Hope your part of that 80%

If it does it at only one speed its harmonic and is either tires out of balance(or tire related) or worn shocks, if you replaced everything else you mentioned.

What happens if you jerk the steering wheel one way, then the other? Will it smooth out?
