My bilstein shocks are only 2yrs old and the track bar bushings are about the same. My truck is in Washington and I'm in California finishing up my time here. I gt a new job in walla walla. I will be reunited with my rig in a few weeks. I will get the tires rebalanced and double check everything you guys stated. Thanks for all the help. I will post up when I find something.
Well I FINALLY got my front tires balanced and low and behold my passenger front tire is totally out of round. The problem I've been having is getting it replaced, since I bought the tires in California and I am now in Washington. Got tired of the run around and called BF. Within minutes they had a shop for me to go to. The tire gets changed tomorrow so I will let you all know how it goes and if it solved the bouncing and shaking issues.
That tire looked really funny on the balancing machine
Everything is goin great. Besides te fact I got no place to work on the truck but hopefully in a year or so I will be able to get some property and a nice shop. Haven't been driving the truck at all, one reason is the tire and the other, the roads in town are fricking tore up. It's like I'm doin some crazy off roading just goin through town. My truck fits in a little better up here, lots of farming and flatbed diesels everywhere
I'm in Walla Walla Washington. The place so nice they named it twice. I just changed it. Now my move is complete!!
ahhhh. sorry, but you are still stuck in fresnow.
rarely in life do you meet a person that will drop everything to help a stranger,
and give the shirt off his back to a friend.
Steve Price was that kind of person.
Godspeed "window licker", the short bus will never be the same with you gone.
Well got the front passenger tire changed, since it was out of round. Also found out the culprit of the 35mph bouncing and highway vibration…. It's the 3" spacers between the duals. Since the rims use a lip to center the tire on the axle(hubcentric) the spacer allowed the rim to shift off center. So to solve this issue they make a spacer with a lip that sticks out for the outer rim to rest on so it is exactly center. So I'm buying another set of spacers. Ha ha ha.
So if anyone plans on doin spacers make sure they get the ones with the lip.
