2000 F250 Fuel pump?
Hey guys I have alittle starting issue hopefully someone can give me an idea on what the problemis…. Well it all started last night. I drove the truck to work and the fuellight popped on so I parked it and about 30 mins later went out to move it and itcranked and cranked but finally started so I went and put fuel in it thinkingthe low fuel was the issue… well later that night I went to leave it did thesame thing so I thought it might be a loose battery terminal and it was so I tightenedit back up and it cranked pretty long then finally started. Drove it home andparked it and today I changed the loose terminal and went to start it no startjust a long fast crank. So I tried jumping it and after a long crank it finallystarted…. I let it run for 15 minutes and I turned it off and changed the fuelfilter thinking that may be the issue. The fuel filter I pulled was caked inblack stuff so I figured it was clogged…. Put a new filter in it and she won’tstart just cranks. Is it possible that the fuel pump is bad? Or since the fueldid get pretty low the screen in my tank is clogged? I don’t think it’s a electricalissue, all connections are clean and tight and both batteries are 2 months oldalong with a new starter. Any help is much appreciated! <o></o>
