anyone tried it?

Anybody tried putting a mustang II frontend under a 1980 f100 2wd , six cylinder, stepside, wood bed.
No really , any one tried and have some info on parts or kits or i should have done it this way advice.

I haven't done it, but it's a good idea. There is also the later model crown vic frontend that has been put under some of these trucks.

It's the only way to go if you want to drop one of these trucks, and do not want to buy the dropped beams they sell.

Have you tried fatman fabrications to see if they sell a crossmember? You usually also have to buy the rack to go along with it. The rack and pinion width needs to match the width of the crossmember.
