Valve Lash adjust??

Also just noticed this truck has a Tick that keeps with rpm Im guessing in the 600-900rpm range

Now if I Hold the throttle Guessing again 1500-2000rpm the Tick Compleatly goes away

Could it be LPOP problem?? and at the higher rpm it makes better pressure??

Stickey Valve???

Any Lifter adjustment or Valve Lash adjustment??

I havent searched the forum yet but will start Now

Any suggestions??

Thanks Guys

I don't think that Rangers have had a 6 liter engine in the last 30 years or so...

Wooo! That would be fun, wouldn't it? - wedging a 400 into a 1/4-ton Ranger...

I somehow don't think that's what the OP meant, though...

If it is the 1992 3.0 from the other post, the Vulcan is not noted for having noisy lifters unless the oil pressure is compromised. I would check the CKP, cam position sensor, I think, that take the place of the distributor on some models. They are noted for making noise and disintegrating with not-so-good consequences.
If LPOP means something wrong with oil pressure, then yes, look into that. Get a piece of rubber tubing and attach it to one ear, sweep the other end over the noisy area to isolate the suspect, and then remove rocker cover for final inspection.
They are not adjustable in that the retainer is tightened to a specific torque, and 'bottoms' on a shoulder on the stud pressed into the head.
You might have a lifter that is too leaky to maintain position at lower lube flow rates.
