I have read so many different things on conversion. I have a 1969 f-100 2WD with 4 wheel disc brakes. I want front disc. I have access to a full front end of a 2wd 1979 f100. Can I just grab caliper mounting bracket or would I need spindles etc..... Thank you for your time.

 

Nope... not just "caliper mounting bracket(s)". Look and compare.... closely. You'll need the I-beams, spindles, calipers, shields, etc. and a proportioning valve.

Easier to park them side by side and swap parts.

I was told steering linkage, tie rod ends etc.. and it says the same here.
