I know this is not exactly the right place to ask but FTE is home... and i dont trust other forums.
Im sure some here have experience with the issues im seeing.
Engine developed a steady miss and CEL abruptly. Codes showed coil circuit E failure and non specific ecm failure. Research points to shorted circuit for #5 on the board. Have changed plug and cop. No fix. I have ae if that helps... but im new with it and focus more on diesel...
My biggest question now is relative to differences between pcm part #'s. Do they need to match up when replacing like they do on my 7.3Powerstroke?
I know that some pcm's are interchangeable on the Powerstroke... if the pcm on the 3.0 v6 system follows suit... where can i find a cross reference ?
