I can see so many uses for this! I've got two bowling ***** and 4 rotors. I'm going to build one for me, and one for Harley. I am going to make a change tho. Instead of a flat plate, I'm going to use a "socket". That way I can make different fixtures for different things...

That, my friend, is brilliant! Can't wait to see what you come up with, Don!

I shared that video on Facebook a couple weeks ago.

Also saw that some made a stand for just a bowling ball to use as a Planishing Table.

Recently found Familyhandyman.com and have spent hours on there looking at different ideas/projects. Suggest checking it out if you have time, as a result I am now building overhead storages in my shop to clear up floor space and a few other small projects.

The rebuild on the massive Lathe inspired me so on a much smaller scale I scored an old Allen E-139 Armature Lathe at a second hand store for $15, it was all rusted up so it got a tear down and everything cleaned/oiled/assembled and moves freely and the original paint even survived fairly well. Unfortunately due to my phone uploading to the wrong Photobucket account I can not yet share pictures.

I use these to keep things in correct order when working on engines for re-assembly.

If you liked my lathe rebuild, maybe you'll like my second build.......

You shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket.
