Rusty bolts? Try this!

I have a good friend that's a supervisor for a line crew that showed me something I'd never seen before, about 10 years ago. It works WONDERS on rusty bolts!

This stuff is amazing! I buy it buy the case from Hall Tools in Portland.

I got it back!

The morons at the shop I use to manage sold me my gimbal (read rotisserie...) for $150! Idiots.........I spent about $300 on material, and charged the company another $300 in labor when I first built it in 1995!

Then these morons sell it back to me for $150? crazy, but I'll take it!

It is missing the 2"X2" tube that runs between the two, so I've got to buy another stick of tube. I've got it together with a short tube just to move it around. First thing to go on it is Mikey's 65!

An old crock pot or roaster oven filled with Simple Green or super Clean makes a great small parts hot tank. Just set it on about 200 and let them cook till clean, go easy on aluminum or zink parts the soap etches them after about 20 Min.

This one's for Pat! One of my pet peaves is cords and hoses run all over the floor. I built this gib boom almost ten years ago when I was taking care of an old friend and his farm. It's just been in storage for the last five years with no where to put it. I just mounted it outside by back shop door. It will get a ton of use out there, and I plan on building another for my large main bay.

We started to get the 65 box mounted on my gimble today. Got one end mounted, tomorrow we'll mount the other end. Then Mikey can start sanding!

Finally (boy are fingers tired...) we got the new small parts shelves mostly done today. All that's left is for Melody to paint the whole thing. It is a passageway between the main shop, and the paint room.
