got a couple of questions
the first one is does anyone know how to get the antenna off of a 59 f100? I think i can feel a nut holding it on from the inside, but there is no way to get a wrench in there that is big enough to fit it. going by feel it seems like it is very similar to this design. 1949-1951 Radio Antenna Assembly - Cowl Mount - Ford Only - MAC's Antique Auto Parts
That part is lsited for only up to 51, but thats what it feels like. Does anyone have any info on it, or leads on correct replacements so i can just hack it off and replace it?
Next, I converted to a ac delco 10si (think it was 10, not 12) gm alternator a while back with a makeshift bracket i rigged up. While it works, I would like something more solid. I saw mummert sells an alternator bracket but the site says it is for delco 1 wires. Are the cases similar enough that this bracket will work for me? I tried to find some dimensions online to compare the two, but no luck. here is a picture of what i got right now. (the stacked washers have since been replaced with metal bushings)
Yes, it has been a long time since my last post. But my truck has undergone a lot of work and is getting near road worthy, again, and i am excited.

I think the best GM alternator mount is from Classic Auto Air. It came with my HVAC kit, but they likely will sell it separately. Check out the attached link. There is a part 2 as well if you are interested. You will find my original alternator looks very familiar to you.

I am not positive on the antenna but I think the ring on the outside unscrews, I am pretty certain that you don't have to unscrew from the inside, but I could be wrong.
