OT: Prayer for Friends in Mass.

I will start this post very clearly ABSOLUTELY NO POLITICAL COMMENTS!!!!

Just wanted to send some love and prayers to those affected by the bombings today in Boston. I know we have a few members in Mass. (like our beloved Mod Jim) and even though he lives away from boston it has effect. We had a few local runners from here that were at the finish line when they went off and are fortunately ok.

A friend of mine posted about her mom being there. She is very into running. It's amazing the reaches these things can have.

Some very disturbing images coming out of there. Prayers to them tonight.

Many good wishes are flowing from the Tugly household to those with loss. Stinky sends a couple of whistles as well.

Thanks for the kind words.
I'm 20 miles south of Boston. I have friends & family that were in the city when crap hit the fan, thankfully all are safe and accounted for.

It is shocking that so many innocent people were hurt and lives were lost. I pray for the victims, their families, and all involved.

I have a patient who ran yesterday. Thankfully, he had finished the race and was away from the finish line when the blasts happened. God bless those that weren't as fortunate as well as those people who rushed to their aid.

The helpers came forward yesterday, didn't they? Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those who were killed and injured.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone hurt there yesterday. As well to all the first responders, i can personally say that they all worked hard and many worked late into the night before seeing any relief until even now

Heartbreaking realization of the evil that walks this earth doing the work of the devil. (No political statement. I mean every word of the above statement.) Our thoughts and Prayers are with Boston! Jim- you know we love you and JL. We are all very thankful you are safe! Still praying for the families of the lost lives and injured.

It is a tragic event one that I hope and pray never happens again. I want to personally thank all of you for the phone calls texts and messages. It means the world to me that you all care!! We live about 45 minutes from Boston.. I am not a "city boy" but I do enjoy a trip to the city from time to time. There is something magical about Boston the sights the sounds the history. I hope that the magic will not be diminished forever.

Thank You so very much and love from JL and myself!

Yes, definitly sending prayers to all involved in this horible tragidy.

That said I think that alot of the special security procedures that were put into place after 9/11 have been getting increasingly less and less as time goes by.

I think that there were most likely way more security sweeps at the Marathon in April of 2002 just 6 months after 9/11 that should (and can't ever) be stoped or relaxed now in todays world.
