Mobil One 5w-40?

Talked my mother in law this past fall into her first ever Ford, a 2012 F-150 FX4 with the eco boost that I will need to be changing the oil on soon. I get free Mobil One from work but we only have 5w-40. Since its not in my drive way to go look at the manual can I get away using it or do I need to grab some oil? Thanks in advance for the advice guys!

The EB's are rated for 5W-30 oil. I believe that 5w-40 is what the diesels are using.
