red excursion with 4 or 6 inch lift pics

I have an 02 4x4 red excursion, and am buying 35x12.5x20 tires tomorrow. Looking for pictures for inspiration on lifts from 4-6inches with 35x12.5x20's. I have seen 35s with a 6inch lift that looks perfect, and also 35s with a 6inch lift that looks like its too much and on stilts. So Im having trouble deciding which one. Maybe a 5?

Primarily a daily driver, occasionally drive 6hr back to Dallas from college. Also pull a ~9,000lb smoker trailer once a month or so.

As far as specifics im looking at:

Ive heard good things about bilstien 5100's and they are 90 a piece so I was thinking of putting those on (I think they are for front only) but most lift kits include shocks already

As far as lifts,
1. Rough Country 5" with Hyrdo8000 is $800
2. Pro Comp 4" (Lift Height: 4 Inches) with ES9000 is $950
3. Pro Comp 4" (Lift Height: 6 Inches) with ES9000 is $950
4. 5 inch Suspension System with Bilstein 5100 Shocks by Superlift for $1260
5. Skyjacker 4" lift with no shocks is $1000
6. BDS 4" lift for $1125

Thanks so much in advance

I have about 5 1/2" on mine with 35s on 10" rims. My front bumper is spaced out forward about 1/2". I don't rub at all now at full lock but did with just the 4" kit. The V codes brought it up enough to clear completely. I'd say at least 5" maybe even 6" depending on what you plan on using the truck.

Not red but you can at least get an idea.

What do yall think about the Pro Comp 6inch and then buy bilstein 5100 shocks instead of the es9000 (is it worth it?)

My 03 gained about 5" by doing a spring swap with ProComp 22210/22415 springs along with rancho 9000 shocks. cost just under $1000 for everything. Running 285 BFG's on stock wheels.

So was that a kit? or just two sets of springs and shocks?

I have had the fabtech 3.5" hanger on both superdutys and a Excursion and was really happy. May want to look at this kit too.

Mine is a 2wd, but it was lifted with a PROcomp 6 inch lift kit, running 35s on the stock mags, (315/75/16)

Just after it was lifted August 2007:

If you go high, like 6" you'll get other stuff with your kit. New sway bar links, pitman arm that sort of thing. The higher you go the more important it is to replace those sorts of things.

I say get a BDS kit, the quality and warranty can't be beat.
