Motorcraft/Racor, AND FLEETGUARD. With Pictures.

For the ones that do not know, the Fleetguar oil filter is the exact same as the Racor/Motorcraft.

I got it for ~$13.68 from TruckHelp.com.

Picture of the seems.

So, for the ones that didnt konw, we have 3 OEM options for oil filters.

Good to know Steve. Who sells the Fleetguard? Is it a store brand for anybody?

I thought fleetguard was a Fram filter name. After doing some reading it is NOT a fram filter, Fleetguard is a company in India and is owned by the Cummins group.

Do you have pictures of the patent numbers on the end of the filter?

Fleetguard aka Cummins Filtration is one of the most well respected filter manufacturers in OTR and heavy equipment use, next to Donaldson and Baldwin.

Pretty sure Fleetguard is 100% American owned, and with several factories in the USA likely makes a significant amount of their own filters.

This is something that has changed recently. Fleetguard filters used to use outsourced Wix filters for the 6.0, I bought some of them from my local International dealer and returned them. They were the ones with the little plastic clip.

G;ad to hear they switched to the proper filter, as noted above Fleetguard is one of the most respected filter names in the business.
