1992 f series 6x9 speakers in rear stock location?

Has anyone been able to find a way to fit a set of 6x9 speakers in the rear stock location without hacking it all up? I don't mind a little modification but I don't want to hack it up. I have a 92 crew cab but I think they are all the same. I already have the 6x9 speakers and I really don't want to buy anymore speakers.

Only way to do it is with adapters, and even then they may not fit well. I would suggest 6.5" inch speakers with adapters in the rear. That's what I am running and I love it.

6x8 fit's perfect, you don't need to hack anything up or use brackets. Just take out the old, and put in the new ones.

Really didn't want to buy any more speakers. Wonder if the 6x9s would fit in the front doors then I could put the 6 1/2s that are in there in the rear.

Unless they are too deep. My first set of aftermarket 6x8" were too deep, and hit the back of the cab.

Nope. Fronts are 6.5", rears are 5x7"/6x8"(both work). Rockford Fosgate sells their P165 speakers for ~$60 and they include the bracket fit into the back, and are shallow enough to not hit the back of the cab.
