"Dear awesome guy, I apologize for the late response and hope the friends of yours on your forum were able to keep it together like grown men while I was getting your answer. I wanted to let you know that yes it is a snow plow mount, but it is also a tow mount for a Geo Metro. It's a very rare mount and impossible to Google to check it's validity as it is so impossible to find. What I'm trying to say is it is a snow plow mount, but those that said it was a tow mount are right too, because it can be used on a Geo as well. Happy Bidding!"
That is hilarious! A geo metro's nose will dive to the pavement with the weight of that stout hardware on its nose. Is there anything stronger than sheet metal to attach it to the Metro?
Well we finally got an answer back from the owner of the nice plow truck and it turns out those are plow mount(s) on the front and I said they were just towing brackets to get the truck there so yes I was wrong, you heard it first here folks, yes; WRONG!

Think it's your first time
Thanks for being honest
I want two... Is the title name I'll use if this infamous thread closes...
I keep thinking that with the title of this thread, it needs to be a place that we put things we want for our Ex's, with links and maybe a small explanation of why and if we will ever get it. Could end up as a clearing house for ideas on how to put boxes on our door steps...
Thanks Sean, Not 1, but 2 4X4 Metros!
No you have me getting crazy thoughts, I have a Metro AND a set of Ex axles laying around.....Hmmmm It might cut down on the mileage some though.

I would love to see this happen. Almost as much as I'd love to see that Metro's three cylinders (assuming here, apologies if incorrect) try to crank over the tires and haul the extra weight while driving through a transfer case. Pretty sure the weight of one axle with tires exceeds the payload capacity for the whole car, isn't it like 650 pounds?
Wonder how short the driveshafts would have to be... Lol.
