I left lake Jackson tx at 6:30 this morning, pulled in my drive at 1:30 am, I can barely stay awake, but I'm holding a cold bottle of Yuengling in my hand.

Robin was the kind of guy who could make the Mona Lisa smile, he was that warm of a personality.

When he was scarce around here due to his computer problems, I would call him just to make sure he was ok. I'll be honest, I do miss hearing his voice.

He was a good man.

Unless a user has been banned, anyone who registers an account here is active.

After Robins funeral, Neal asked about Robins membership status. I made arrangements to extend Robins membership for a year. Thanks go to IB Tim for getting that done.

NOT to change the subject of toasting Robin in any way, but Frank, you drove from Jackson, TX to "somewhere" in Orlando, Fl in just 7 hours?

Are you saying 630PM to 130AM?? Thats 7 hours.....for how many miles??

6:30 am silly Rick! 19 Hrs From Lake Jackson Tx to Bradenton Fl. 1100 miles, two big traffic jams, a couple meals, a few dog walks, dropping my buddy off, 3 fuel fill ups, & one speeding ticket.
I changed my Location to Orlando, but I haven't moved there yet. I will be this week some time. I'll be in the Lake Nona/lake Hart area off Narcoossee Rd.

 

Gotcha Frank. You are pretty close now.....about an hour and a half away.......I'm going to come and visit when you are all settled in. What campground/park will you be at?

 

Tomorrow I'm calling the KOA on Narcoossee rd right on Lake whippoorwill to see whats available.

 

Gotcha...I've been past that KOA a few times, never went in though...I guess you know that Narcoosee rd is 4 laned all the way from US192 to SR528 now, its real nice!

If you get in there Vicki & I will come over for a weekend visit with our camper!
