Is it compatable?

UltraGauge Automotive Information Center and OBDII Scan Tool

Checking the FAQ tab, says it is, but just not sure...

I think there is something about our trucks that not all of these toys will work or not everything you may want is available.
Subscribing to find out myself. Looks interesting!

Yeah but that was over 2 years ago when posted. I wonder if they have made any improvements?

funny yuo said that ,Bobby. I just BOMBED their website looking for info. Got to "advance" acceptability setting, and seemed MY truck fits in its equation. However, i can not find a "contact" button anywhere. Seems as though, the best place for info, is to sign-up on their website/forum. maybe there is hope...

Tim... our trucks are not obd2 compliant. I have experimented with many...

I have been able to get the really nice one from HF to see rpm, vss, and thats it. Lol.

The really expensive 100$+ Bluetooth obd2 doohickey was a total fail... engine would not even start with that thing connected... talk about getting a spooky feeling...

You better believe i almost puked when my dad suggested i plug the lil bugger in with the engine running.

Abruptly handed him back the cute little toy...

Your cheapest option is probably scangauge2 brother...

My stray thoughts on this: RF on the OBDII port? Where you send the command to Buzz test? Not in Tuglyville. I hear enough about Rupert Murdock hacking cell phone text messages and other paparazzi hacking photos out of stars' phones through Bluetooth. I can just see an errant phone call on my hands free sending Stinky into a Buzz test while on the freeway.

Laugh if you want, but you're talking to the guy that has to pop VC covers every two weeks to tighten injector bolts. Luck and I are having "hall sex" right now - we shout "Screw you!" as we pass each other in the hall.

You still having injector bolts back out? Did you mark them yet to see if they are turning or something else happening? Loctite?

BillyBob69,
According to the most recent info, that the unit will work on our trucks that are "OBD11 Certified". My smog sticker says it is!
