wheels and tires

i have a 1989 f350 dually 7.3 idi nonturbo, i want to put a set of new rims on it but i been told that the new modern wheels wont fit on these older trucks?? is this true?? could i use adapters or something like that?any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

the super duty wheels will not fit the old 8/6.5 bolt patterns that your truck has. i think it would be more of a hassle to try to fit them to em if its even possible

No go on new factory rims, but there are still plenty of aftermarket wheels to fit

Another option is find E-series van rims. Even brand new 2013 models still use our old bolt patern, so any wheels you see on a van, will bolt on our old trucks.



But I think theres still a pretty big aftermarket place for rims on these things.

2004-2007 E150's use the 5x5.5 bolt pattern that our F150's use.

There are also plenty of aftermarket wheels with the 8-6.5 bolt pattern. Summit Racing carries a lot of them.

thanks for the info guys and ill check out summit racing slowly but surely i'm getting my truck the way i want it but with todays econamy its flipin hard .
