Learning

Hi. I'm new to the classic world and am in the process of purchasing a 1950 F1. It all original and running. My goal is making it a show truck. Bit I'm trying to learn everything about it (specs). It has the V8 flathead engine in it. Where can I learn about tearing it down and rebuilding it?

Welcome to FTE.

Google "How to rebuild the flathead Ford". You will find an endless list of hits, including books on Amazon. Some links come back to this site as well.

Sample books:

Rebuilding the Famous Ford Flathead (Insights): Ron Bishop: 9780830620661: Amazon.com: Books Rebuilding the Famous Ford Flathead (Insights): Ron Bishop: 9780830620661: Amazon.com: Books

Scroll down a bit there and see several additional books.

Good luck with it.
