I have an 03 F-250 with a 6 inch suspension lift and I'm looking to add two more inches of lift. I've heard of add-a-leaf kits but don't know much about them.
Can i simply use an add-a-leaf kit to add on to the 6 inches of suspension lift that i already have? Or are there any other options?

 

Add a leaf installs at the bottom of the pack, right above the overload. Essentially a second overload spring. I'm doubtful that you'll get an additional 2" from an add a leaf considering the arch you already have. Maybe not more than the 3/4" thickness of the spring. It will also stiffen the ride considerably.

 

What about Ready Lift? I was told I could gain 1-3/4 to 2" of lift to level my F-350 nose dive look and still retain the factory ride.

Also I believe we have a suspension vendor or two that could chime in. I am interested in the same thing as the OP but just on the front, without sacrificing ride quality.

 

Thats not an add a leaf. That's what they call a "mini spring pack". It is essentially a tapered block that installs beneath the front springs. It will indeed add 2" to the front and will alter the ride very little. I have a similar pack in the front of mine.

Another front alternative would be a shackle lift. It will do a similar amount of lift and is somewhat easier to install in one's driveway.

You can get either style off of ebay or amazon for substantially less $$ than in the link posted.

 

I did order a shackle lift off Ebay a few years ago for about $40 but I put it away and never used it, it just doesn't seem like the proper way to do it.

 

Personal preference IMO. I run the mini pack on mine and we put an eBay shackle lift on my friends F350 dually. Both are holding up without issue. Probably 3-4 years now on the shackles.

 

I have the Tuff Country level lift with the mini spring pack. Works good and didn't affect the ride quality too much. I've been thinking about going just a hair bigger without going 5-6" of lift. Been thinking about trying this Rough Country 2" Shackle Lift and a bigger block for the rear. I don't know anybody thats done this setup before though.

I'm kinda torn, by time your buy the shackle lift ($310), 4 shocks, rear blocks, rear U bolts, drop pitman arm you could probably buy a complete Zone Offroad 4" kit for $810

Don't do the el cheapo shackle lift that only lifts the pivot side (rear) of the leaf spring. It screws with the suspension geometry and guys that have done them say they ride and steer like crap afterwords!!
