Anybody put a T5 behind a 223 in a F100 from 1960? How involved is it? Any kit avaliable? Any info would be helpful.

 

I just put a T5 behind my 240 in my 67 F100 I got a adapter plate from modern driveline it bolts to the stock bell housing you will have to drill a few holes in the bell housing but it was only about 160.00 for the adapter I also put a tailshaft housing from the S10 T5 on my Ford T5 it moves the shifter forward about 8 inches that along with the lid just bolt right on the the Ford T5 but you will need to modify for the speedo gear if you go that route I have some pics if your interested I haven't driven the truck yet I'm still working on it I started a frame up on it about six months ago I'm getting close though

 

I would like to see some of those pics. We are contemplating using a M5R2 5-speed. But would be enterested in seeing the T-5 option as well.
