Electric Issues

Hello ALL I need some help..
I have a 88 Bronco II that I have installed the complete dash, wiring and engine from a 94 explorer. Ran great for the last 2 years.

My problem is that two nights ago someone tried to steal it from my front yard, they tore up the steering column bad, but they were not able to get the lock cylinder out. I had to use a hammer and beat the key into the cylinder and after using pliers I was able to turn the key and work it on and off. When starting the truck before when I turned the key on I would hear the fuel pumps come on and go off after a few seconds. Now when I turn the key on I do not hear the pumps but the truck will start and run and when I turn the key to the off position I hear the pumps run for a few seconds and then turn off.

I pulled a new column from a 94 explorer today and installed it, and still have the problem.

Does anyone might have a clue to what could be causing this? Could the attempted theft be causing this or is it just a coincidence?

Thanks,
Louis

I think that my problem is a bad relay, I am going to replace all of them.
