Removing the rear two cats from my truck?

As far as I know the 02 sensors are in front of the rear cats and removing them wouldn't effect the way my truck runs. I want to cut the rear cats, leave the front two on and run straight pipes from the cats back or maybe a short glasspack,I haven't decided yet.

Am I right and there is no issue doing this,or am I completely wrong?

Get under and look.
You should see the rear sensors in the 'middle' of the rear cats.
Good luck.
