Going good! My bulkhead has rust along the bottom edge and I want to fix it up this summer (or asap) when I replace the bed. When and what colors will you be painting?

The bed looks pretty good, and straight. Mine never will be after 45 years of abuse, but I think a couple dings and dents add some character anyway. So will your bed also be viking blue, and what is the floor like?

My bulkhead - front Panel was rotted replaced from mar-k 54" wide
Had to cut the base from bottom on both sides could not find replacements
One new fender from Sacramento vintage then welded three tears in the other fender so $300 for bed then $800 to haul it from Tucson then $700 more in parts and hours of sanding wow do I whine about sanding
Yes Viking blue no two tone for me probably hav to sand

What is mar-k? Mercury? I have a sheet of aluminum diamond plate that I'm going to try to use on my bulkhead. I saw an F100 in Vancouver done that way and I think it looked pretty good. Good luck getting yours put back together. It's going to look good when you get it done, and all that sanding will have been worth it. I've got to get started on mine.

Your 4wd is comming along nicely. Congrats Im hoping that one day my 63 goes together as well as yours. I look forward to the day I start all my sanding. Ill probably regret it once I start too. Im doing some quick dd body and fender on my 65 will start with filler and sanding on that one soon but nothing fancy that will come later.
