newbee with 1989 F 150 4.9 5 speed

I have a question, I have a 1989 F 150 with the 4.9 engine, its been sitting in the garage for about 5 years and has only 8800 miles, changed the battery to a new one, drainded gas and put in new fired up ran kind of rough for a few minutes the straighten out, drove about 2 miles and parked it back in the garage. I went out the next morning fired it up and now have a colaped lifter in the front by the oil fill, I can wiggle the rocker on the number 2 rocker arm seems loose and i dont think that it is fireing running on 5 cylinders.. what would you do, kinda scared to do the ATF thing dont want to damage the engine. Truck is like brand new.
