M5OD pilot bearing

I am trying to connect a 1969 351W to a 1989 M5OD tranny. Does anyone know the correct pilot bearing for this application? How do I install it?

Thanks

Do some research to find out if the pilot hole on the '69 crank is the same as on an '88-96 351W. If it is, it's the same pilot bearing as those trucks would use for that transmission. It just taps in.

While I'm not a big fan of Auto Zone's parts at times, their web site has become a usefull tool for this. Just set up the two vehicles in the system and check to see if they call for the same part numbers. I think they probably are the same, but this is a quick and easy way to confirm it.
