Torque for tie rod end ball stud nut
Hi All,
Searching the 1953 shop manual for correct torque for tie rod ends, it just says tighten the nuts to the specified torque. No specification provided. I am thinking about 30 ft. lbs?
Does anyone know the correct torque for these?
Thanks in advance.

I'm also a Certified Tech, and agree with Merc, but doing it so long, we just got the feel. Any tie rod spec from any rear wheel drive North American built car will probably work.
