Power Mirrors popping/clicking
Hello all, I am having a issue and when i fold my Mirrors in the drivers side pops. I took it to the dealer and they said this is normal. I dont think popping when folding in the mirrors is normal. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? I have a 2012 F-350 and still under warrenty.

I don't hear mine and they are folded in and out every time I go in or out of my garage. It seems like these mirrors are either good ones or bad ones. I'm sorry to say, but my buddy Andrew's started out that way and now one of them doesn't work all the time. I'd keep after them that your mirrors should be making noise until the fix it or find another dealer.

My driver's side is completely broken and passenger side is going out as well.
These mirrors are pretty cheap I guess. I have 2 neighbors with the same truck as me and one guy has had the drivers mirror replaced twice and the other has had the passenger replaced once.
My dealer won't replace my mirror w/o extensive computer/wiring tests which I'm not inclined to let the dealer plug into my computer to sniff around.
I'll live with the mirror that won't fold. Everything else still works as it should with both mirrors.

Broken folding drivers side mirror
I had my mirror start acting up, and then starting popping and locking up when trying to fold the mirrors. It would only act up once and awhile and of course, the dealer had to see the mirror acting up before they could repair it. What really surprised me was Ford, not the dealer, examined the mirror for any scratches or marks that would have suggested that I had it hit with a branch or something similar, which they found nothing. The dealer said that they had to fight a bit as Ford was still not wanting to replace it. They finally did.

that's the plastic gears popping from being our of sync
have you tried to manually move the mirror out to it's maximum arc ?
maybe one of them is not at the same arc as the other ?
the manual says:
If the power fold mirrors are out of sync, electronically
power-fold the mirrors to re-sync the motors. This will cause a loud
“click” and the mirrors will jerk during re-synchronization. This is
normal.
and they CAN be manually pivoted forward, maybe try moving them around to see if it will allow them to resync ? good luck...
