Which model year do you all think is the most desirable of these trucks?

Lol. Im being objective. From a collectible perspective, is there a model year that is more desirable? Or, are they all about the same?

You answered correctly, Doc.

In my view, the '56s are akin to the 65 Mustang and 57 Chevy: iconic symbols of popular and enduring nostalgia. There are other choices for some that represent distinctions, to us, that have little difference to the rest of the population; they are simply all older vehicles.

I don't plan on getting in this argument so the 56 is the most desirable.... .

Isn't the question a bit like asking which of your kids is your favorite...?

Without any prejudice it's gotta be 1954.

No, not really. I know we are all partial to our trucks. My question was more objective from a collect-ability stand point. Just like the example used a few posts down/up, using the 55-57 Chevy. If we had a 53, 54, 55, and 56 all decked-out the same, which one would has a bigger demand, and fetch more money? Maybe there isn't one. I just wanted to know out of curiosity.
