Hrm... I really like that. That would make the light bar mounting so much nicer.

I think if I do ladder bars I'm planning on doing a 5" block with ladder bars and a 2" leveling spring in the front and air bags to stop the sag when I haul mulch or scrap. So the block one from PMF suspension is so appealing, I'd get more height and no wrap.

I gotta come by some day and check out the door seal mod. I thought about doing that but I'm just not sure if it's worth it.

And your list of mods is almost identical to mine, yet our trucks are so different!

The truck looks great Justin, really liking the mods so far. Really like the smoked lights and tint too. I think I'm going to get the same 20% on mine too. If I remember right you had it professionally installed, how much did it cost you? Did you just do the front windows or all of them? I was thinking about maybe redoing all my tint with new 20%, but not sure if it would be worth it or not. Factory tint on the rear windows is about 20% right?

I could be wrong but I don't think the factory tint can be removed. The 3m tint that I got matches from the outside perfectly. Inside its a little darker but it hasn't been a problem yet.

The tint cost me 75$ a window. So 150$ for the front 2. Has held up very well for the last year and a half or so.

I got a little work done yesterday. I used fatmat, got a 25 sqft kit with install tools for a decent price of Amazon.

I finally put something behind the back seat so it's not just sheet metal. I also did the rear doors. It's not perfect but pretty good for a first attempt. I have enough to do the front doors as well and will probably do that my next day off.

First impressions are that it does what it's supposed to do. Stops vibrations and cuts out a little road noise. I'm still planning on replacing the cotton matting with a proper sound deadener but will do that over the summer.

I would like to the floor as well, but I'm slightly worried about the seat bolts being rusted/stripped. When I went to install my sound system one of the rear seat bolts just felt like it was spinning.

Justin how much did thta run you? Now that my interior is literally all apart except for the carpet I have been thinking about doing some sound deadening while its out.

Are you referring to the matting on the doors?

I wouldn't worry about the seat bolts, I was worried the first time when i had to install my 08 console but once you get them out the first time if you spray them with some WD40 and the holes then reinstall them they usually come out every time without any effort. I have taken my seats out once a year for the past three years and never had an issue after oiling them, first time took some force now it's easy though.
