Leveling kit in, need to lift the rear a little now?

I just got my 2.5" leveling kit on my 2006 fx-4. I love the way it looks
only issue is the rear is a touch lower than the front now and I would like
it perfectly level or as close as possible. I am thinking an inch to inch and a
half on the rear. Just wondering what options I have.
Thanks in advance!

Yeah that is pretty standard when you do a leveling kit. You can either go with a 1" block on the rear or an add-a-leaf. The add-a-leaf is the best option to me because it will not only lift the rear but increase your carry capacity too so its a win win.

I would do airbags, especially if you ever carry a load. Low pressure for just a little lift helps the ride also. Plus you can always have a level ride when towing or carrying a load.

but the problem with airbags is they wont lift you, they will just keep you from squating more when you load it up

i would say add a leaf, it will give you that extra bit of lift you are looking for
i am doing mine in the next month or so

Add a leaf. As others stated you will get some lift and increase the payload. I'm doing the same thing in the summer

Airbags will infact lift the back end of your truck, instead on running the airbags empty run them about 12 psi. Know from experience

A few guys here have installed the Monroe rear shocks that have additional external springs. They said those added about 1-1&1/2" of height.

Air bags will lift, they are taking load off the springs so springs will last longer and give a more compliant ride than add a leaf.
You could also put an additional spacer (say 1/2"?) to allow for more lift at lower pressure to get the desired lift with a lower PSI.
Just so much more adjustability and nice for towing or carrying loads.
