Lokar Drive-By-Wire Electronic Throttle for 52 F1

Anyone running a Lokar Drive-By-Wire Electronic Throttle on a 52 F1?
I have a 302 automatic with 2 bbl. but will probably change to 4 bbl.?

Think I may have contacted Lokar before and they told me it would not work.

Thanks,
Tractorman Bill

It looks like it is designed to work with engines built in the last decade that originally came with drive by wire electronic throttle bodies so pretty much GM 5.3/6.0, Ford 5.0 coyote and Dodge 5.7 hemi etc.

While you probably could make it work with a carburetor but would require assembling a microprocessor and circuit board to take the pedals signal to actuate a small linear actuator attached to the carburetor linkage.

A simple cable setup is much simpler and easier IMO.
