I took my '02 5.4L F150 to the track tonight. I'm curious to compare times with anyone who has run thier truck. Mine has the 5.4L, 3.55 gears, Ex. Cab, Auto. Except fot the K&N air filter it's bone stock.

Here are my times:

Except for run 1, all passes were made with the tail gate down. My times improved a bit as the air got cooler and the track conditions improved.

Anyone have any times to compare?

Nah, I haul my racer on the trailer and tow it with my 2001 F150 SC 5.4L 4x4 3.55.

 

I've run my '01 F-150 5.4L 4x4 with a G-Force meter and hit 17.1 at 6700 ft. altitude. Don't know how the G-Force times relate to an actual track time. Is your rig a 2x or a 4x4? What altitude is the track you were at? Must not have been too crowded to get 9 runs in. Did you have to do anything special to pass tech inspection?

 

Sorry, I see in your bottom line that your rig is a 2x4.

My truck is bone-stock.

If your reaction times are consistent you must kick butt at the bracket races.

 

The track was in Bowling Green KY. I don't know the altitude.

Tuesday nights are street car night and right now, only about 20 - 30 cars show up. You can make lots of runs.

 

I did race one of this fast and furious cars on the way home tonight. It was a Chevy Calvalier with the big wing and big exhaust and stuff. When the light turned green, I put it to the floor(I used 4x4 to keep from spinning), I could hear him power shifting and chirping tires, I ran it up to 70, when I looked back, I had him by 3 car lenghths!!! This ole Triton will hold its own I guess. Chalk one up for the Blue Oval!!!

I have a 4.2L V6, shortbed singlecab F150. I took mine to the track in Louisiana and my best time was a 15.7 at 84 mph.
