When you say lost all power, does the engine stall/shut off or does it just idle? I know you mention starting it back up after looking things over, but just checking to get the whole picture.

Have you checked the fuel filter condition? Hows the oil pressure? Is the oil good?

Is this an auto or manual trans?

I would pop the lid off the fuel filter and check to make sure it looks good. You can also pop open the drain line on the filter housing and see what comes out.

It only happens after the truck has warmed up? Like when the thermostat opens?

Check the fuel selector valve also. My truck did this a couple times before it wouldn't restart at all. Selector valve was stuck in the middle and or plugged up and couldn't get fuel. I couldn't even blow air back through the lines with an air compressor.
