Well, at least everything is getting soaked real well before digging anymore...

It was up to 80+ a few days ago. Now it's in the 40's again.

My tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers are loving this hot, humid weather. I hope the colder weather this weekend doesn't do any harm.

"STUFFF SPROUTETH..."

Including heritage tomato vines, from tomatos that were dropped on the ground last year...

I'll be scooping many, into containers

I got a tomato from those vines last year so big -

IT LOOKED LIKE A SUNBURNED ARMADILLO!!!

The ones the bugs got to, or for whatever reason were not good enough - I dropped right there in the garden.

So I paid no attention to getting seeds this year, they are SPROUTING UP EVERYWHERE!!!

Sounds good---you're a bit ahead of me (no sprouts yet, as I had surgery the exact week I SHOULD have been planting) but my garden is planted. I put in some tomato & pepper plants to tide me over until the seeded plants mature.

We got about 1 1/4 inches of rain last night----about 6 inches above normal for the year.
