DPFE Part#?

Anybody have a part number for the DPFE sensor? Thanks

You can call your dealer. Even a regular autoparts store can provide the OEM #.

FWIW, I previously came across a link to a webpage that shows the Ford OEM part #'s for different Ranger DPFE's. It seems to indicate that the so-called "newer" plastic DPFE for the 3.0L is really just the same part that they have been using on the 4.0L motor for several years now.

Ranger DPFE Application Guide

(Be sure to click the vendor's part #s for each of the various years and models to display nice pop-up images of the different DPFE styles.)

NOTE: A plastic DPFE is preferred as it is less succeptible to corrosion.

I got my DPFE sensor (the new plastic one) at Advance Auto for $51 and change. I took the OEM part number right off the casing of the old one and brought it to them. Their computer listed the newer plastic unit under the same part number but as the new replacement for the original metal unit.
