Loading the spartan 210 tune right now...

So far, the shifting seems stock.
Exhaust back pressure and boost are higher than the 310 going down the highway,
No smoke at all, very clean.
The power comes on as described before; easy, not jumpy. Accelerates much like stock, just more power.
I was amazed watching it, that the EGT's stayed at a certain spot, so I assume the reason I think the exhuast back pressure and boost are higher than the 310 is probably the purpose of the tune to keep the EGT's low .
Honestly I'll give it a couple days, but I'm pretty sure the 310 will be loaded again.

How does your 310 compare to H&Ss 300 or gear heads in YOUR opinion? Ive ran both and now have a more custom tune but ive never tried Spartan.. I kind of hate to loose the adjust on the fly option because its nice to have for whatever reason a guy might want to have it lol.
I am curious about custom tunes, I have a pretty good idea what I want.
I can't remember which company makes tunes that will load on the spartan.

The 310 could definitely peg the EGT's past redline, but daily driving I haven't seen over 1000 even pulling big hills with a bunch of cargo in the box, and a truck camper.
I doubt I'll drive enough to notice a MPG difference, but I'd ASSUME the 310 would probably deliver better mileage.

My truck was puking last year from the 275 tune, so I'm not pushing anything to the max right now. Haven't been drag racing the thing.

ya I've been reading, and it sounds like the guys with the higher tunes are getting the better MPG gains... I think I'm just gonna try and 210, and then if I get bored with it or don't like it then I'm going to go with the 250, and if I don't like that one, then I'll go with the 310, gonna skip the 275, sounds like i'd get my self in trouble with that one and driving habits.

I like it cause it runs less boost, and EGT's seem good to me for what I do.

River City Diesel talk to Josh. Almost anything can be changed i went for special early lock up on the converter for towing and more aggressive responce from the engine coolin fan at a better temp then the stock config

how much did they ask for a custom tune, if you don't mind me asking?
