2013 F350 KR Likes and Dis-Likes
I have had my new 2013 F350 KR 4x4 6.2 for a little over a month now and have the following likes and dis-likes compared to my old 2008 F250 KR 4x4 6.4.
Dis-Likes
The steering is so much more goosey than the 08. Maybe because the 250 had 325x60x20 D rated tires compared to the 295x70x18 E rated Nitto Terra Grapplers recently installed on the 350.
Steering wheel is not as fat as the 08. Feels more like a car steering wheel.
Hand Grips in both front and back used to help you get in and out of the cab are also skinnier than the old grips. Dont like the new location of the ones in the back.
I like the 08 leather seats and configuration better than the 13. Dont like the head rests in front and especially the back in the 13. Those in the back on both ends of the seat are too large covering the majority of the back glass.
Dont like the "Hill Assist" feature. Just feels weird not having my foot on the brake.
Dont like the location of the clothes hangers in the back of the 13.
Large plastic front cowling
Poor Fuel Milage (I do have the 430 rearend)
Do miss the power of the diesel engine.

No regens!!!!
Less expensive fuel and service costs
Navigation System and Sync Voice Commands
Wi Fi
110 AC outlets
Remote Start
Climate Control
Heated and Cooled Seats
Auto up and down on both front windows
AC vents in rear of console
New grill
Metal flakes in the paint
New golder color of the bottom of the Black/Adobe combination
Rear Camera( though I still use the mirrows more often)
Stiffer suspension ( it is a little rougher ride than the 08 250 but I like the stiffness) I am sure it would ride better under a load
Overall I am pleased with the new truck and I am sure once I have had it a while I will get used to some of the changes. I do think I will again look at the diesel when I trade again especially if they get a better handle on the emmission system. Just cant stand the regen issue especially if it is used a a daily driver in town high traffic setting. Hopefully when I retire in a few years the majority of my driving will be long trips out west and Canada.
