Which Wheels to Buy? JEGS?

I need new wheels for my 2001 F150 Supercab, 2wd, 4.6 liter, V-8. I'm told that new steel wheels are often warped. Are they? I had a recommendation for JEGS 'D' Window Steel Wheels for about $45 each but they are steel. This truck has 106,800 miles on it. I intend to keep it. I don't mind spending more money on wheels if they will run smoother and be well balanced when I get them.

What I want is a good set of four wheels. I don't want an expensive and showy set. I've looked on TireRack, but there are so many choices. I've a new set of Michelin tires and have some small vibration problems that I know are caused by the old wheels being slightly warped. I just don't know wheels or even how to order them.

1. new rims are not bent, warped, etc
2. old rims can be straightened & re-balanced as good as new

any shop should be able so spin balance and show you what you have now. Im not saying one of your rims is not bent, but that is not a known problem with steel rims. You should be able to jack up the truck and spin one wheel and watch to get an idea.. But again, any good shop can high speed spin and show you what you have now.

There is a tire and rim shop west of the big MALL, across the street. Im not promoting them, but they had a dozen different kinds of rims when i was in there a few years ago.
