This is NOT mine.
Today I was out boneyard crawling here in Arizona looking at all the rust free trucks searching for some spares,etc for my F150 in my local U Pick It yard.
I stumbled a cross an F250 4X4 with what appears to be a fairly fresh 5.8 carbed motor in it.The manifold,carb and distributor were removed,the valley pan was laying loose on the engine but everything else was still in place and I didn't see any rust anywhere.
Looking around a bit more I found the intake manifold with the 2bbl carb still bolted to it sitting in the bed.
I took some pics of the engine in the truck,the carb and manifold and I believe of the door sticker too, but I can't post them here.
If someone who can would send me their email address and post them here maybe one of our members who needs a carbed 5.8 can grab this one.
Now this is NOT my engine and I don't know it's history but if you're interested I can give you a phone number to the yard and you can take it from there,they do have a good rep for being honest.
The engine is still in the truck bolted up to the trans,stick,if I recall correctly,I looked at an awful lot of Fords today,so you could probably score a lot of ancillary parts too.
Price not known at this time but it's easy to find out,it should be fairly reasonable.
And no,I will not make ANY money on this,nor do I work there,etc,etc.
