Defrosters

I can't believe Ford make the defrosters out of cardboard.

Is there a company that makes metal replacements?

I've been trying to get a hold of some myself. Sacramento Ford advertises fiberglass ones but when I tried to order some they emailed me saying that they wouldn't have any a long time.

You could probably lay colth and resin on them yourself. I patched mine up with brown paper bags and fabric cement. At least they don't make any sqeeks or rattles!

Mine still look great after 50 years. I think the issue with these can be moisture, window leak, or something like that.
