Is any one else going to the flathead ford invitational car show in Pekin,IL this Saturday? I think this is the same one they normally have in East Peoria every Spring.

 

I didn't know that existed? Where at in Pekin? What time?
I wouldn't mind going if my better half is up to it!

 

It is at the Avantis Dome Saturday. It usually is a very good show when it was in East Peoria.

 

3 hour trip from here, Saturday is tough though. Got a full day of honey do's as is.

 

I'm going to try to make it. It's one of the first shows of the year and being an invitational it usually draws good quality. Hopefully there'll be a truck or two. Will be interesting to see how it works in the new venue.

Looks like a good show. Too bad it's 4 hours from me. One trip a year deep into Flatlander country is about I can take, I'm reserving that trip for May.

i will be there, i just read, it starts at 7 am and goes til 4 pm.
That is an air filled dome, it looks like a big kids jumpy gym, like at the fair.

 

I am going to try and get off work by 2 on sat and head over with the boy and the toy........but only if work allows it. I hope to see something that gives me a good idea for my next project.

 

Bob, we've got a room for you and the better half and a garage for the F2 here in Flatlander country any time you need it... that's just how we roll!

 

I'd love to hang around and see your truck but we'll probably be gone by then. You're driving your truck down for Truckfest aren't you?

 

I would really consider going, I'd have to drive the '04 Dodge, the F-2 is still in winter storage, but the next day is Easter and the "better half" is hosting for the family. I'm sure she'll have some last minute Honey Do projects for Saturday and you all know how that will fly if I was enjoying myself

 

What time are you guys thinking of going?

 

Hey Brian, I just told Nicolle I want to run over about 8 am to see if there is any swap meet goodies, then go home and wait for my house full of females to "get ready" So I am predicting we might be there, for the show, around noon.
