Bjmayberry, if you are asking me, I'll see if I can locate them. If I find them, I'll PM you and you're more than welcome to them.

Sounds like you two worked it out. I am still at the point that I am not getting rid of anything until the entire project is done - for those "just in case" moments.

Bjmayberry2, I'm still looking. If I can't find them, I'll make you a set on my lathe.

Bjmayberry2, if I can't find them I'll need some dimensions. I think the inside diameter is 3/4", but how thick do you need it to be. I'm not sure but I think it might have been 1/4". Hope someone can let me know this morning so I can start making them.

Wouldn't blame you for hanging on to them. It's too easy to keep everything. Took my Grandson through the barn the other day and he played "Stump the Chump" I knew what everything was but he couldn't figure out why I was keeping it. He didn't buy "Ya never know when you'll need one".

I've put several of these on. The spacer is for a variant design of the nut. Replacement nuts in some instances were that 0.25" thinner, and thus the spacer. It is not needed if you have an original "Ford-designed" nut. Guess some of the other ones were just trading nut thickness (smaller stock thickness) for thicker outside keyed washers. If you had that setup from a PO, you would have been "PO'd" if Speedway and the other guys didn't include it.

That does explain why so many don't need the spacers.

Thanks for the info. I had called Speedway's tech line and they didn't have any ideas as to why it didn't fit correctly. Would be nice if they would include the nut thickness differences and explain the use of the spacer being optional based on the nut size (if they are aware of the difference).

Thanks again.

They've probably been making these kits for 25 years and nobody in tech has probably installed one (or seen one out of the box), and nobody left really understands them (except for the old guys, which you don't get to talk to! ).

Did any of you guys have an issue with the drivers side caliper hitting the axle when turning left? I don't have the toyota steering box hooked up yet. So I'm not sure of the turning radius. But my caliper does hit the axle when I manually turn it to the left.
