Tranny shutter shifting

My truck has been havering a bit of shuttering going into 3rd gear. It feels like it goes in and out of gear really fast on the shift into 3rd. It is also starting to do it a little going I to second. Is there anything I can do to fix this or is it the tranny on its way out

Fluid still red? Might need changed due to break down of additives, thus chattering when trying to engage clutch packs.

Usually by 100K they start to get rough shifting(at least in my last few trucks). Fluid/filter and a couple days of driving they get smooth again.

As noted above the E4OD is very susceptible to torque converter shudder. A COMPLETE (16+ quarts) is the first step to resolving the issue.
