I think those trucks were 2015 GM HD prototyptes. I was told not to expect a new Super Duty before 2016 at the earliest. Word is there is a lot of controvesy over the next generation inside Ford at the moment, which probably means the program is in the early stages of development.

BTW- I would not be opposed to a good IFS. The latest GM HD's (2011 and up, I think) are actually very strong, and I hear the snow plow guys like them quite a bit (nice to be able to adjust the front ride height with a heavy plow). Axle articulation still isn't as good as an SFA. Older GM IFS was junk, no question.

They all just copy each other now days.

As for the IFS, like mentioned they had it for many years in the OBS trucks, we never had a problem with any of them.

 

You guys talking about these two I saw a few weeks ago going north out of Cheyenne? Yea, the phony oval patch on the grill was funny especially with that oh so soros tail pipe.
