460 SD ECM swapped into a 351W truck?
So I was parousing the forum looking for possible cures to the lean issue I'm dealing with in my F250 when I read this thread that, due to its simplicity, made me laugh so hard milk would have run out my nose were I drinking milk at the time (If you'll pardon the cliche).
So '89F2urd is actually running a 351W modified similarly to what Im running (less the 10+:1 compression) on a 460 SD ecm just so he can run the 24lb injectors?
If it works its GENIOUS.
Yes, I read he's running a wide band O2 and a adjustable fuel pressure regulator to provide some "tunability" to the engine...but that engine management solution is so simple its beautiful.
And before someone tells me I need to fix whats wrong with my truck before I go swapping parts around, well yes I know that...but... my ADD is kicking so hard just thinking about it I probably should be having Ritalin DT's.
Not to mention I am a cheap SOB too. Junkyard hotrodding gets me more excited than a perv at a porno shop.
You see, there's this 88 1-ton in a salvage yard near by with a running EFI 460 and a 5spd...
